Fishing near Stoke on Trent

The Caldon Canal lays claim to the title of England's most scenic waterway - and no one benefits more from its picturesque location than Staffordshire's anglers.

As well as peaceful views and rural surroundings, the Caldon Canal offers a variety of fish such as bream, roach, perch and carp. High quality angling can also be found on the Trent & Mersey Canal to suit both serious match and pleasure anglers. Roach, gudgeon and perch feed freely, and on a fine summer's evening you can catch carp and bream.
