Described as 'The Greatest Palace in Britain', Hampton Court has 500 years of history within its walls.

Set in 60 acres of gardens, the palace was the centre of Royal life from Henry VIII to George II. Visitors can explore the elegant Royal Apartments and experience the bustle of Tudor kitchens as they are taken back in time to a time when royalty was in residence.

The Palace houses some of the finest paintings from the Royal Collection, with paintings from 16th, 17th and early 18th centuries on display.

There is an extensive programme of events during the summer including the annual Flower Festival and evening concerts. The Palace can be reached by river boat from Westminster, Kingston and Richmond.
