The Wey-South path has been established to follow the Wey & Arun Canal wherever possible, diverting along country lanes and rural footpaths when needed. The South Downs Way takes you close the canal and give easy passage into the unspoiled countryside. Take a relaxing walk along the length of the Basingstoke Canal which is well signposted and has numerous picnic spots along the way.
