The home of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is based in town where the where the Bard himself was born and died, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The 1412 seater Royal Shakespeare Theatre is one of three RSC theatres in the town and the largest. The current theatre is the second on this site, designed by Elizabeth Scott and built in 1932.
Performances include plays from the Shakespearean repertoire as well as workshops and lectures.
