Boating near Rugby

Warwickshire is the county of cruising rings - and there’s no better place to spend a week afloat. Cruise through broad and narrow gauge canals, discover industrial heritage and contemporary architecture, and admire the surprisingly rural surroundings of the southern midlands.

The Grand Union Canal, trunk route of the canal network, carves through the county town of Warwick. Enjoy a scenic cruise north of here to meet the Stratford upon Avon Canal at Lapworth, but not before you’ve mastered the challenging Hatton Flight.
