Walking near Dudley
The West Midlands offers well-marked, scenic and interesting walking routes for all ages and abilities.
For those wanting to soak up a bit of culture, the Coventry Canal boasts an Art Trail. Wildlife is the focus of an interpretative trail around the Hatton Locks with markers at strategic points to help walkers with sightings. For a truly memorable experience, Stourport offers a ‘mystical sound’ walk. With the aid of an MP3 Player (available at the Windlass Café) walkers are treated to Sabrina, the Goddess of the River Severn and James Brindley, the great canal Engineer.
