Gentle Wiltshire has some of Britain’s best-loved landscapes - rolling green hills, quiet villages and a canal of particular rural beauty.
The Kennet & Avon Canal is at its most scenic as it meanders through very English countryside en route to Bath. Even the steep climb up John Rennie’s lock flight at Devizes is amply rewarded by the views from the top.
