Towpath Stoppages
Towpath Closure only: Rabone Lane Bridge to Rolfe Bridge, Rolfe Street
Associated Regional Office: West Midlands WaterwaysUPDATE (20 December 2011): Upon further investigation, it has been noted that the entire wall is in very poor condition and the likelihood of a further collapse is very high making use of the towpath dangerous. Until the situation can be resolved, we have reluctantly closed the section of the south towpath between Rabone Lane and Rolfe Street Bridge. The north towpath remains open during this time.
