Dudley

Located deep in the warren of the Birmingham Canal Navigations, it would be hard for Dudley’s inhabitants to miss the multitude of waterside recreational opportunities which exist right on their doorstep.

Dudley Tunnel and Mines cut directly beneath the town. Take a boat trip through the astonishing underground caverns and basins with the Dudley Canal Trust or, if you prefer life above ground, take a waterside stroll along the BCN to historic Stourbridge and enjoy a refreshing pint at Delph Locks. Cyclists can take to the towpaths and explore their home turf along the Dudley No.1 Canal from Brierley Hill to Factory Junction.
