The Marina's excellent location in the heart of Hull provides the perfect choice for a permanent berth or for visitors. It's just a short stroll into the City Centre for either a spot of retail therapy or to visit one of the many historic hostelries and cafe bars found around the Marina itself. In the Old Town you can discover Hull's traditional taverns for food and drink or enjoy the leisure facilities and gymnasium at the local Holiday Inn situated at the Marina.

Hull Marina is easily accessible from the M62, and Holland and Belgium are virtually on our doorstep. A daily service is provided from the North Sea Ferries terminal, just a 10-minute drive away. Hull is also a perfect base for all year-round cruising on sheltered estuarial waters and for exploring the River Trent, Ouse and the spectacular Yorkshire Coast. We also host the annual Sea Fever Shanty festival with Kingston upon Hull City Council.

British Waterways' vision is to provide excellent boating facilities that meet customers' needs and to develop the waterfront quarter in partnership with Hull City. The Marina staff are on duty 24 hours a day and will be happy to assist in ensuring your stay with us is truly memorable.

Daily and long-term parking is available in the Marina Boat Yard - car park permits are available from Reception.

Hull Marina boat repair and hard standing storage yard, including covered areas are situated in Railway Street alongside Humber Dock, and is equipped with a 50 ton Wise boat hoist and 2 ton crane, a new Roodberg Hydraulic Boat Trailer and supporting cradles, a New Holland Tractor, Manitou (fork lift/tele-handler) and other related facilities.

Hull Marina is entered via a Tidal Lock which operates from 3 hours before High Water to 3 hours after High Water. The lock operates on all tides, day and night, throughout the year. Please note that the start and finish times of this 'penning' or lock operation are arranged so that there is always a minimum of 2 metres water depth over the lock cill.
