Leave the car. Taste the air. Feel the breeze. Smell the flowers.

It's as steady as you make it. You can enjoy a trip along one of the county's waterways at a leisurely pace or cycling and walking holidays are great for those wanting a slightly faster pace. Lincolnshire's rolling countryside is made for exploring and there's so much choice.

Criss-crossed by footpaths - including the Viking Way long distance footpath, Wolds Way, pub and town trails, river walks, coastal walks or why not try them all on a walking holiday? So many varied landscapes, so many places, windmills, villages something new around every corner. The less taxing way of life.

For cyclists, too - this is the heart of England's cycling country. Quiet lanes, ancient tracks, ride around picture book places in peace, or be adventurous and try the Hull to Harwich route.

Or take to the water for boating, fishing or walking. What better place than Lincolnshire with its canals, rivers and long, long coastline?
