This family run boatyard on the Kennet & Avon Canal has been building and hiring out superb narrowboats for over 32 years! This experience, combined with a personal service and a high level of return customers ensures that your dealings with Reading Marine Company will be a carefree and happy experience.

What you will find on board is what you are used to at home - running hot and cold water, a fully equipped galley - although at home we would call it a kitchen! Shower, flush loos, central heating and electric lights. In the galley you will find a full range of equipment - cooker, fridge, cooking utensils, crockery, glassware - everything you need including your tea towels. Also, in the cabins, there are duvets, sheets and linen.

Reading Marine have full time engineers who can deal with any mechanical or electrical problems. We also operate a 24-hour breakdown service. We are CORGI registered and also have a Boat Safety Examiner on site.
