Spade Oak

The Spade Oak Hotel has retained all of its original charm and, like the area of Bourne End where it resides, prides itself on community spirit and friendly atmosphere.

Just a short walk from the River Thames, guests can browse a menu which includes a wide variety of freshly prepared classic pub dishes such as Slow Cooked Shoulder of Lamb, daily fresh fish dishes and Homemade Pie of the Day. There is also a separate lunch menu offering freshly made sandwiches and salads, perfect if you’re just nipping in for a quick bite.

Directions: From the M4 J8/9 follow the A404, Proceed over the roundabout, take the next junction to Bourne End, turn right towards Bourne End, and follow that road until you reach the roundabout, go straight over. Then take the first right into Coldmooreholme lane follow the road to the end where the Spade Oak will be situated on your left hand side.
From the M40 J4, take A404, turn left towards Bourne End and then follow directions above.
