CAMRA Redditch & Bromsgrove Winner of the pub of the season 'Winter 2002'.
The Weighbridge was once the old Weighbridge office for offloading coal barges to horse and cart for local deliveries. It has since been converted into a cosy canalside public house with a friendly atmosphere serving a selection of reasonably priced home cooked food and real ale.
The interior and beer garden provide comfortable settings while retaining the character of the original building. A selection of home cooked bar meals and snacks are served daily. In addition to the bar and snug there is a no smoking dining area that can also be booked for small meetings and private dining.
The Weighbridge is situated next to the Worcester and Birmingham Canal at bridge 60 on the western edge of Alvechurch village and adjacent to the railway station
Home cooked meals are available daily 12 - 2pm and 7 - 9pm with a changing menu.
Sandwiches and snacks only on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
Breakfasts served from 8.30 - 10am (by prior arrangement).

Try our exclusive award winning real ale, as voted by CAMRA, the 'Tillerman's Tipple' - a Bitter by the Weatheroak brewery at 3.9% ABV with your meal. We also have a changing Guest Ale. November sees a popoular Real Ale and Cider festival (watch the website for details).
