The Torksey Interpretation Centre, by Torksey Lock on the Fossdyke Navigation in Lincolnshire, contains interpretation panels, a fully working model of Torksey lock complete with water, vending machines, a meeting room, a computer - linked into Waterscape.com - and a video camera hooked up to a nesting box.

There is also an outside seating area and interpretation.

The centre was funded by the Lincolnshire Waterways Partnership, which is made up of British Waterways, Lincolnshire County Council and the Environment Agency.

Opening Hours until Friday 14 April

9am - 3pm, seven days a week.

Passage can be booked with 24 hours notice between 7am & 9am and 3pm & 4pm.
