Union Canal Carriers Ltd are situated in the midst of rural Northamptonshire and centrally placed on the canal system giving immediate access to many and varied routes through the towns and villages of the English countryside.

Their boatyard at Braunston, almost at the central junction of the Grand Union and Oxford Canals, is hidden away in a green valley immediately below the well known flight of double locks leading up to the exciting Braunston Tunnel. The office and workshops are housed in the old Victorian Pump House with moorings and dry dock nearby forming part of a small working canal community which has changed little over the last 100 years. A fascinating place to start your holiday from and exceptionally well placed from the motorways and main line railway station.

The Adventure Fleet aims to set standards that few hire fleets can match. As they are as enthusiastic as ever about 'canaling' after well over 25 years on the 'cut', Union Canal Carriers Ltd. are constantly on the look out for ways to improve the design of our boats.
