Established by famous TV gardener Geoff Hamilton, Barnsdale Gardens have been lovingly maintained since his death.
Many of the sights will be familiar to viewers of Gardeners' World, but even if you're not an aficionado, the gardens are worth visiting to experience the sheer invention and craftsmanship that has gone into them. The garden owners describe Geoff's style as verging on "organised chaos", but there is definitely method behind the madness.
