The Brownhills Canoe & Outdoor Centre is situated adjacent to the Wyrley & Essington Canal in Brownhills.910The Centre contains a [http://www.britishwaterways.co.uk British Waterways boater’s service station, temporary moorings, visitor’s toilet and shower facilities and is conveniently situated right next to a large Tesco’s supermarket.
Brownhills provide sessions for:
- Individuals or family groups (any age);
- Schools, youth or community groups;
- School holiday play schemes;
- Birthday parties;
- Corporate team building days;
- Day, weekend or evening sessions;
- Drop-in sessions, Saturdays 10am - 3pm;
- Indoor pool sessions also available.
A calendar of events and activities takes place throughout the year, including kayak, canoeing & raft building, orienteering, off-road cycling, fishing, local history/nature walks.
British Canoe Union canoe training courses are provided, from beginners to higher level coaching qualifications.
