The Erewash Canal Preservation & Development Association maintains Langley Bridge Lock, Swing Bridge and Basin, where the Erewash, Nottingham and Cromford canals form a junction. It was instrumental in saving the Erewash Canal and has recently helped to establish a restoration scheme for the Cromford. Regular work parties and social events are organised.
