Pleasant, award-winning tea rooms overlooking the lock at the junction of the River Trent, the Erewash Canal and the River Soar.
There is a choice of over 60 different teas and 15 different coffees. The menu covers snacks such as toasties and local specialities, main meals such as filled Yorkshire puddings, homemade stews and old fashioned fayre.
In the summer there is an ice cream cart to tempt those with a yearning for traditional ice cream.
Open Wednesday-Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm (6pm in summer).
