Seaskills Inland Waterways training is based at Auchinstarry Marina to the south of Kilsyth on one of the most scenic stretches of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
As well as offering RYA Inland Waterways specific courses i.e. Helmsman and CEVNI, Seaskills offer all RYA power boat training courses - ideal if you wish to take your inland waterways-based vessel into coastal waters.
If you aim to take your own boat or plan to hire a boat on the European waterways don’t forget that you will need to be CEVNI certified. We can examine for and award this.
Train in the school's widebeam canal boat, or in your own boat. If you just want to get more out of your boating, without necessarily going for a formal qualification let us know what you want and we will do our best to provide it.
