The Pelican

The Pelican is a picturesque family pub set on the canal, offering an extensive range of traditional English pub food and snacks, alongside great beers and fine wines.

The pub has a traditional interior bar with open fires, a modern conservatory is set-aside as a dining area, but where you eat is up to you!

The Pelican benefits from having a large canalside garden, with bbqs and hog roasts making eating outdoors a pleasure.

With the addition this summer of the ‘Lock & Quay’ bottle and snack bar it’s a perfect place to enjoy a sunny meal with family or a few quiet drinks with friends, the tranquillity punctuated only by the many swans, ducks and Canadian geese that congregate in the garden!

The pub also offers a free mooring on a wide section of the canal, making it a good turning point.
