Aberchalder Lodge is an extremely comfortable, very spacious 19th Century traditional Shooting Lodge which was extensively modernised after a disastrous fire in 1982. It stands on a hillside 5 miles south of Loch Ness commanding sweeping views in every direction across Loch Oich, the River Oich and Thomas Telford's Caledonian Canal to the hills of the Glengarry Forest and was the birthplace of the present Laird of Glengarry who still lives on this private Highland Estate.

The Lodge is a wonderful venue for a large family party on a self-catering holiday.
