Aspenwood is a luxury modern self catering holiday cottage overlooking Loch Ness in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. The cottage is situated in peaceful and secluded Farigaig Forest woodland. Aspenwood cottage has been equipped to a high standard and the owners personally maintain the property and look forward to welcoming guests on arrival. All rooms are on one level comprising of three bedrooms which sleep 5 comfortably, spacious lounge, open-plan kitchen/dining area and large separate bathroom. Double glazing and oil fired central heating ensures the cottage stays warm and cosy throughout the year. Private decking offers superb panoramic views of world famous Loch Ness which can be accessed from either the master bedroom or the lounge. Take a short stroll from the cottage down a grass track to the secluded Loch Ness beach where you can enjoy a walk by the water. Two well behaved pets very welcome.
Aspenwood is situated in the tranquil village of Inverfarigaig on the south side of Loch Ness. It is 16 miles from the city of Inverness on the east coast, capital of the Highlands and a similar distance from the busy village of Fort Augustus situated at the western end of the loch. Here the Caledonian Canal enables boating craft to continue their journey passing through stepped lock gates and various lochs to the stunning west coast.
