Little Hallingbury Mill is a beautiful Grade II Listed building with functioning mill machinery. It houses a hotel and restaurant, which is within short walking distance from Tednam Lock on the River Stort.
Our restaurant is open for lunch and afternoon tea every day from 12.30pm to 4pm, and evening dinner from 7pm to last orders at 9pm. We offer an affordable range of both light meals and dinners, including a variant on a ploughman's lunch, with prawns and herrings instead of cheese, which we call a 'boater's lunch'.
We are on the route of two pleasant local walks in the Little Hallingbury area, both of which have sections that follow the course of the picturesque River Stort. We offer discounted rates on accommodation and meals for members of the Stort Boat Club and customers who have moorings in Hallingbury Marina. The bar in our licensed restaurant sells a locally brewed beer called Narrow Boat Bitter, and with every barrel sold we donate £5 to the Canal Boat Project.
