UPDATE (19 April 2011): Please be advised that vessels exceeding 4.5m (14.7 ft) air draught will need to book to have these bridges lifted through Gloucester Lock on 01452 310832. Bookings will only be taken for normal, seasonal bridge opening hours and these bridges cannot be lifted before 9am on weekdays (except Bank Holidays) you are required to give 24hrs notice for booking the bridges to be lifted .
