Update : 30 March 2009

Notice still applies - Next Update by end of July.

Please be advised that the marker buoy, which located the underwater hazard, of the old Drax railway bridge pier, approximately 350m downstream of the Barnby Barrage (River Derwent), is missing. Until divers can be organised to attach a new marker buoy, there is a need for all vessels to navigate with care, as the obstruction is in mid channel and protrudes above the current bed, due to scour.

A further update will be issued in March 2009.
