UPDATE (19 January 2012): MONDAY 30 JANUARY 2012. The navigation will be closed just west of Semington Swingbridge 161, to just east of Whaddon Grove Bridge 162, from Monday 30 January 2012, works to be completed by Friday 9 March. (Please note the original start date for these works has been changed.) The canal will re-open for navigation during the weekend of 11 and 12 February and close again Monday 13 February until Friday 9 March. ----------------------------------------------------
