UPDATE (19 January 2012): In order to carry out additional repairs to leaking lock gates, this stoppage will be extended until 10 February 2012.
The additional repairs are aimed at reducing water losses down the Northampton Arm and hence conserving water for the main summer boating season. The repairs are particularly important due to the continued period of regional drought.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Replacement of top gate at Lock 10 and bottom gates at Lock 14. General repairs to other lock gates and lock structures.
