Is Date Flexible?: This stoppage has now been swapped with the Burnt Mill Lock stoppage. This swap is due to heavy siltation within the lock which has caused problems in getting the exact gate measurements. Bottom Lock stoppage (Hertford Union) was originally scheduled to start on 07/11/2011 for 5 weeks.

Nearest downstream winding: On the Lee Navigation at the junction of the Hertford Union downstream from Bridge 11 (Carpenters Road bridge, A115).
