RES on behalf of Scottish & Southern Electric are constructing a new bridge over the canal. For safety reasons the canal will have to be closed on the stated days. British Waterways apologises for the inconvenience.
The days affected are as follows (between 8am-8pm):

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE STOPPAGES ARE IN PLACE OF THE STOPPAGE FROM 25 FEBRUARY TO 9 MARCH 2012 PUBLISHED ON WATERSCAPE. The towpath will also be diverted from 22 June permanently.
