UPDATE (03 May 2012): Dundas Pump Out Facility
Works to install a temporary pump-out facility at Dundas Wharf have been delayed and were not undertaken during April 2012 as previously advised.
A temporary pump-out will be installed the week commencing 14 May 2012. Work will take approximately 3 days. British Waterways apologise for the inconvenience that has been caused by the unacceptable delay to this work.
A permanent repair is still being developed and will involve significant work to the Listed wharf building. A permanent repair is unlikely to commence until August 2012 at the earliest.

UPDATE (23 March 2012): Temporary pump-out facilities will be constructed at Dundas Wharf in April 2012. A repair to the permanent facilities will take longer to implement and work is unlikely to commence prior to August 2012. Further investigation is required to ascertain why the building is subsiding and how to prevent further movement. Similarly, the building is Listed and as such plans for its repair are subject to careful scrutiny by our heritage advisors and the Planning Authority. This necessary and important process will delay the start of work on site.
Clearly, the existing facilities have been out of action for longer than anticipated and with the benefit of hindsight temporary facilities may have been established sooner. I would like to thank those who drew this on-going situation to my attention and prompted installation of a temporary arrangement.

The Dundas Sanitary Facilities is out of order due to the dangerous state of the structure. We do advise boaters not use the mooring in front of this facility until further notice.
The nearest Elsan facilities are at Bradford on Avon.
