UPDATE (09 March 2012): Please be aware, works have now been completed and the lock has been re-opened.

This gate suffered severe impact damage during last season and after further inspections we have decided, for safety reasons, to replace the gate during this period.

These works are being carried out to coincide with planned winter stoppage works on the lock flight.

British Waterways apologises for any inconvenience caused.
