UPDATE (08 March 2012): Please be aware, works have now been completed and the canal has been re-opened.

Over the course of the summer, leaks on the aqueduct have slightly worsened highlighting the requirement to carry out detailed investigation works. On the outcome of the investigation the leaks will either be repaired, or a plan will be drawn up to enable more substantial works next year.

These works are being carried out to coincide with the Stratford split bridge programme.
