What shouldn't I take on a canal holiday?

Due to the limited electrical output on canal boats, you are advised not to bring: domestic appliances (e.g. blenders, toasters, vacuum cleaners, etc), heaters, or lighting equipment.

You shouldn't plan to bring large items, such as bikes or canoes, without first consulting your canal holiday operator as to whether there is room for them.
