Circular route from: Perry Barr Lock Bridge
Start Perry Barr Lock Bridge:
This is a flat, canal towpath route, that utilises a complete ring of different canal systems. The towpaths have some narrow grassy parts which are hard on the wrists. Also, be warned that this route is an all day event.
Head away from the A34 past Perry Park and follow the canal to Fazeley. At the canal junction, go left to Fradley.
At the canal junction, just after passing Fradley, go left and follow this up past Rugeley to Shugborough Hall/Great Haywood.
Take the turn off to the left and follow the canal ring round past Weeping Cross, Penkridge and Oxely.
At Valley Park turn off to the left and follow the canal through Wolverhampton, Coseley, Tipton and down to West Bromich.
Take a sharp left at Pudding Green Junction double back and head for Ocker Hill.
Turn off right, going under the A41 and follow the canal up to the M5/M6 intersection, veering right to head back to Perry Park.
Have cycled this 5 times in the last few months
