1. Penrith to Langwathby (6 miles / 9.6km)
The route begins at Penrith Tourist Information Centre. From here you will need to turn left to the traffic lights and then left again through Burrowgate. Continue to cycle through Sandgate, straight across, and then up Fell lane to the top. Here you will need to turn right, through Edenhall village, where you will then arrive at Langwathby.
