There are some stiff climbs on this short, but challenging section. Look out for good views of Invergarry Castle and Loch Oich. Take your time and you should enjoy the constantly changing scenery.

Look out for the light green forest enterprise sign at the beginning of the climb. Along with the usual excellent information it says, "Going North you need strong legs and good lungs"! It also warns you about the steep descent into Glengarry.

You start the climb out of Laggan on a forest road and come onto a very narrow, hard surfaced road that eventually drops steeply down to a bigger tarmacadam road. Here turn east and cycle 500 metres, then turn north at the busy A82(T). You are now at the road bridge over the River Garry which is usually busy, so you may want to dismount.

On the other side turn left and on your right is the Invergarry Hotel and / or a tea room, both excellent options for some well deserved refreshment.
