Most of this section is along forest roads, mostly with stunning views of Loch Ness. Invermoriston is a delightful village with most amenities.

From Allt Na Criche car park and picnic area, follow the route past the old stone bridge and to the right of and behind the Forest Enterprise sign. This very pleasant section of route along forest roads takes you through some magnificent large stands of conifers. The forest road heads north following the A82 but hugh above it.

Beware of any signs advising you of work in progress in the forest.

The last mile is a quiet road that takes you into Invermoriston.

Getting there
