This is a tough uphill ride - literally - but on a good day, it's a never to be forgotten cycle ride. The views as you climb are spectacular and the hard work is well worth it.

The forest road takes you straight up through trees which quickly give way to more open ground. You climb now in a twisting, snaking fashion for 900ft, but the views are worth it!

At the top, the track becomes a brown ribbon, gouged out of the steep hillside. Take care as the drops on your right are very steep. Once across the section you start to descend towards Bark Sheds and the A82(T).

The last few hundred yards are very steep. Take it steady as you are looking for two of the narrow green trail markers. Pass the first one on your right but turn left onto the well worn track on your left, just before the second one.
