Fine dining
Something to celebrate?
Gourmands and romantics can enjoy an intimate diner a deux or a memorable night out with friends in one of our elegant waterside restaurants.
To dine in style in Liverpool, we recommend:
Est Est Est
Address: Unit 6, Edward Pavillion
Liverpool, L3 4AF
T: 0870 4012 125
Whether you're on your own, with a partner or with a big group of friends, Est Est Est is the place to go if you want to feel welcome. The varied, Italian menu means that there is something for everyone to choose and the consistently good service and excellent food mean that people come back again and again.

Shanghai Palace
Address: Pier Head Terminal, Georges Parade
Liverpool, L3 1DD
Unprepossessing from the outside - it's on the upper floor of the ferry terminal - this is a pleasantly inventive Chinese restaurant. They're big on banquets, with six set meals to choose from, plus a special Sunday lunch menu and an "executive lunch menu": a waterside working lunch for £6.50, including drinks, can't be bad. Specialities include a wide vegetarian selection, plenty of soups, and lots of seafood, presumably not caught from the Mersey.
