Circular route from: Aira Force Car Park

A walk to a beautiful idyllic waterfall - where you may see red squirrels, overlooking Lake Ullswater, looked after by The National Trust.

Just follow the designated pathway up to the waterfall from the car park.

Getting there

Public transport: From Penrith M6 junction 40, by car, take A66 for about 1-2 miles, at roundabout take A592, pass Dalemain Historic House, continue to Pooley Bridge, follow the A592 along the edge of the Lake for about another 6 miles and Aira Force Car Park is on the right. There is a cafe.
