Waypoints
1. View over the Shropshire hills
Take the footpath on the right of the disabled car park which leads into the woods. Follow the path for approximately quarter of a mile and take the right turn just before the welcoming bench. You are now following a route marked with red-and-blue-collared posts. At the wide junction, turn right and follow the path marked by blue-collared posts. At the T juntion, turn right and continue until you reach a grassy bank. Here, head uphill and left towards a single pine tree. Enjoy the view!
2. To the trig point
Head back towards the path you have just come from and take the smaller track going off towards the right. Turn right again at the T junction and continue along this main track until you reach the trig point (in a grassy bank to your right). From here, follow the path marked with blue-collared posts going downhill.
3. Past the water storgae depot
Keep to the track, going over the cycle jump, until you reach another bench seat. Here, leave the path and go downhill to the right. When you come to the bottom of the hill turn left and follow the path along the edge of the field. Continue until you reach a wide gravelled track. Here, turn left and go uphill past the water storage depot. Take the next turn right onto a wide grassy path.
4. Homeward bound
Keep to the path going alongside the fence and go straight on at the next junction. Continue until you come to a path marked with red and blue collared posts on your right. Turn down here until you meet a gravel track, turn right and follow a new path marked with yellow/red and blue collared posts. This will bring you back to the car park.
