London's best kept waterway secret is the Bow Back Rivers - a maze of rarely-used rivers and drainage channels snaking around the streets of East London. Striking architecture at Three Mills and surprising flashes of wildlife make for a varied waterside walk.

This walk has been devised by the Inland Waterways Association, experts on London's rivers and canals.

Download full directions for the walk, including a detailed map, from their website here (PDF file).
