Tring Reservoirs is an important area as the clear and mineral-rich waters, reed-beds and nearby woodland attract a wealth of plants, insects, bats, fish and large populations of breeding, wintering and migrating birds. This walk, the shorter of 3 walks around the reservoirs, will delight you as you investigate this beautiful Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The route follows two sides of the Startop's End Reservoir and then onto Tringford Reservoir, briefly touching Little Tring Road before heading for the Pumping station and onto the Wendover Arm towpath.

Follow the towpath just beyond Heygates then turn left onto Tringford Road. When you reach the bottom corner of Startop's End Reservoir, take a right turn, following the path imbetween Startop's End Reservoir and Marsworth Reservoir, which brings you back to your starting point.
