This short walk will show you around the historical Maintenance Yard and Ayslum Wharf, and beside part of the Hatton Lock flight on the Grand Union Canal.

1. From the Maintenance Yard car park, cross the bridge over the canal and go through the hedge and over the stile. Bear slightly left across the field, going over the railway line using the stile and correct crossing point. (The next field is not an access point to Hatton Country World so please keep to the correct path).

2. Cross this field and through the hedge. Head in the direction of the farm on the ridge taking you across the field and over a footbridge. Go up the hill to the farm and through the gate. Continue through this field and into a small strip of land adjoining Budbrooke farmyard area.

3. Carry straight on down the side of the buildings and follow this unmade lane until you reach a tarmac road. Turn left. At theT-junction turn left and follow the road back to the canal using the access through the petrol station. Do not cut down the side of the bridge. Walk back up the lock flight.
