Banavie to Tor Castle

The 2.4 km (1.5 mile) walk is the perfect way to take in some of the most stunning countryside in the Highlands without having to trek for hours.

The walk starts on the canal bank in Banavie and takes walkers past Neptune’s Staircase, Torcastle Farm and onto the ruined Tor Castle, which was once occupied by the Cameron clan.

From the ruins there are unparalled views of Loch Lochy, a large fresh water loch stretching 10 miles long and one mile wide.
