Glen Loy Forest Walks

Located on the west bank of the Caledonian Canal just north of Banavie, the beautiful Glen Loy Forest offers some relaxing walks in a setting rich with indigenous and unusual wildlife and plants.

There are two walks for visitors to enjoy. The 2km Strone Viewpoint Walk affords walkers with some of the best views of Ben Nevis. Although steep, the walk follows forest roads and there is no rough terrain.

The Erracht Oakwood Walk is 3km and follows forest roads as well as a single track path through breathtaking forestry.
