Forest Enterprise Walk

Walkers looking to undertake a two hour journey through beautiful woodland should try this Forestry Commission Scotland walk.

An easy walk to follow as distinctive posts showing a small ship symbol – a reference to the ‘puffers’ which used to sail the Crinan Canal – guide hikers along the route, which starts in the car park at Crinan Harbour. Simply follow the path through the woods, turn right onto the forest track. Turn left and look out for the ship symbol which leads you on to a small path. Follow the route uphill to the fort then descend through the deer fences onto the forest road which leads walkers back to the harbour.
