Middlewich Three Locks Trail
Route facts
Waterways:
Shropshire Union Canal »
Trent & Mersey Canal »
Distance: 0.99 miles / 1.6 km

Circular route from: Middlewich Town Wharf
This is a shorter version of the Middlewich Waterside Trail. It again starts at Town Wharf but looks in more detail at the magnificent engineering of the flight of three locks alongside Brooks Lane.
This trail has been designed to provide easier access for all and features a nature section. Then in a circular route back along Lewin Street, the trail explores some of the rich tradition and heritage of the town’s oldest buildings. This trail is not strenuous and can be completed at a leisurely pace in under an hour.
